Horsin' Around

This is a tragic true story from my life... last wednesday

My horse [link] has been "grounded" from running because we're working on control and her ability to listen to me and follow my commands. Wednesday she got to run for the first time in a month, and it made her VERY happy! She bucked and twisted (totally playfully) and suddenly there was no horse underneath me and I was on the ground! For like 1/2 a second I thought everything was ok, cuz snow is very soft ^^ but, then she kicked out her back legs and caught me in the back >.< Yeah... suddenly I couldn't breathe and I knew something was wrong! Then she came trotting back to me, rubbing her nose on me, trying to find out why I was on the ground O_o

Everything was eventually fine though. I got back on and calmed her down and she was a perfect little angel the rest of the ride. She really didn't mean to knock me off, it was just an accident. And, since I think everything's funny as long as no one dies- I now find this funny. My back sure is sore though Oh, well. Laugh with me!

Note: I WAS wearing a helmet at the time (I just didn't want to draw it) and I was wearing like four layers of thick clothing because it was about 10 degrees outside, which probably saved me from cracking a rib or something. If that had happened in the summer, it probably wouldn't have ended this happily
